family home.The Homestay has its own separate entrance and a balcony with a
magnificent views of the Palace and the Fort The
Homestay has two room's one double and one single each with their own bathroom.
Breakfast is included in the tariff, lunch/dinner can found in one of the many
restaurants or hotels in Bundi. Alternatively guests can order lunch/dinner in
the Homestay. TARIFF Single Room 350 RUPEES Double Room - 500
RUPEES Both include a simple breakfast
juice/tea/coffee toast jam/honey.
HOW TO GET THERE Air: Jaipur at 206-km is
the nearest airport. Rail: Bundi railway Station distance 5-km. Kota
distance 36-km both convenient railheads from Bundi. Road: Good road
connections link Bundi with important places around.
PLACES OF INTEREST Taragarh Fort and Palace was
built in 1345. The view over the town and surrounding countryside from the top
are magical, especially at sun set. Inside the ramparts are huge reservoirs
carved out of solid rock. Taragarh is reached by a road leading up the hillside
to its enormous gateway.
THE STEP WELL OR or
(Bawari) These are
a prominent feature within Bundi's architecture and in the past served as water
reservoirs in the summer months. There are over 50 wells however many have
suffered the ravages of the time.
CULTURE Bundi School of Painting is an authentic School of Painting and
is an important school within the Rajasthani style of Indian miniature
painting, dating from the 17th to the end of the 19th century.
